Private Client Solicitor (3-6 PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Solicitor with 3‑6 years post‑qualification experience to join our highly regarded team in St Albans. You will work with business owners, entrepreneurs and high‑net‑worth families, providing specialist advice across multiple generations.

Key responsibilities

• Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Estate administration and probate work
• Creation and administration of trusts
• Inheritance tax planning and estate planning
• Advising high‑net‑worth individuals and families
• Assisting with complex estates and succession planning
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting business development initiatives

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 3–6 years PQE in Private Client work
• Proven experience handling a broad range of private client matters
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Strong technical ability with meticulous attention to detail
• Proactive, organised approach to a busy caseload
• Commercial awareness and interest in developing client relationships
• Consistent billing or financial performance in current role
