Private Client Solicitor (3-6 PQE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (3‑6 years PQE) to join a leading private client team in Hertfordshire. You will work with high‑net‑worth individuals, families and business owners, providing specialist advice on wealth planning, trusts and estate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on estate planning, inheritance tax strategies and wealth preservation.
• Draft and administer trusts, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection applications.
• Manage complex private client matters with minimal supervision.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with clients and professional referrers.
• Collaborate with specialist trusts lawyers and the wider private wealth practice.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 3‑6 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong technical expertise in private client law.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
• Excellent communication and a collaborative approach.
• STEP, SFE or similar private client accreditation is advantageous.
