Private Client Solicitor – 3+ PQE, Oxfordshire

About the role

The Legists are seeking an ambitious Private Client Solicitor to join their expanding Private Client team in Oxfordshire. This full‑time position offers the chance to manage a diverse caseload while working alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality legal advice on wills, trusts, estate administration, inheritance tax planning, estate planning and powers of attorney.
• Maintain exceptional client care and develop strong, lasting relationships.
• Support colleagues across the department and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Participate in networking events to promote the firm’s Private Client practice.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in Private Client law.
• Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of Private Client matters.
• Excellent communication and client‑care abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Wills and probate drafting.
• Trust creation and administration.
• Inheritance tax planning.
• Estate planning and powers of attorney.
