About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least three years post‑qualification experience to join our growing private client team in Devon. The role involves handling a varied caseload that includes wills, powers of attorney, tax planning, estate administration and Court of Protection work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse private client caseload covering wills, powers of attorney, tax planning, estate administration and Court of Protection matters.
• Provide high‑quality client communication while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Contribute to department development through marketing and networking activities.
• Collaborate effectively within the team and support junior colleagues as required.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years PQE as a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive.
• Self‑sufficient, proactive working style.
• Ability to manage own caseload and administration with appropriate support.
• Membership of STEP is advantageous.
