Private Client Solicitor – 3+ Years PQE

About the role

Join a respected, growing firm in Chelmsford as a Private Client Solicitor. You will deliver exceptional, purpose‑driven client care while managing a diverse portfolio of private client matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload covering Wills & Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and Estate Administration.
• Provide clear, sensitive legal advice and maintain strong, lasting client relationships.
• Ensure rigorous compliance and meticulous file management throughout each matter.
• Meet clients both in person and remotely, adapting to their preferred communication style.
• Contribute actively to the team’s ongoing success and collaborative culture.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience in Private Client work.
• Warm, professional and empathetic communication style.
• Strong attention to detail and high service standards.
• Collaborative, positive attitude and confidence in managing your own caseload.
• STEP qualification or progress towards it is a bonus.
