Private Client Solicitor (Cornwall)

About the role

The Legists are seeking a Private Client Solicitor with at least five years post‑qualification experience to join their respected team in Cornwall. This position offers the chance to build long‑term relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals and families while handling complex, rewarding legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise individuals, families, landowners and business owners on wealth and succession planning.
• Manage estate administration, business and agricultural asset matters.
• Provide tailored planning for high‑net‑worth clients and elderly clients, including later‑life considerations.
• Maintain a varied caseload and ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years PQE as a Private Client Solicitor.
• Proactive in managing own client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
• Commercially aware and eager to contribute to team growth.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and strong teamwork skills.
• STEP qualification advantageous but not essential.
