Private Client Solicitor – Flexible Full‑time/Part‑time

About the role

We are looking for a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our growing Private Client team in Newhaven. The role focuses on providing specialist support to elderly and vulnerable clients, covering wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate and ongoing affairs management. Flexible full‑time or part‑time arrangements and some home working are available.

Key responsibilities

• Create new client files and manage case documentation.
• Prepare client care correspondence and complete client questionnaires.
• Draft wills, lasting powers of attorney and other legal documents.
• Attend client meetings and handle routine enquiries.
• Manage elderly client affairs, including financial and healthcare matters.
• Maintain accurate matter data, prepare cost claims and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Contribute to business development and achieve fee income targets.
• Supervise and support junior team members while upholding confidentiality.
