Private Client Solicitor (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join an established private client team in Essex on a hybrid basis. The role involves managing your own caseload with minimal supervision while providing expert advice across wills, powers of attorney and estate administration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of private client matters, including wills, lasting powers of attorney, contracts of purchase, estate administration and succession planning.
• Provide clear, accurate legal advice to clients and build strong relationships.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters.
• Meet deadlines and maintain high organisational standards.
• Participate in marketing activities and promote the department’s services.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Private Client Solicitor.
• Strong knowledge of private client law areas such as wills, LPAs, CoPs, estate administration and succession planning.
• Excellent research, analytical and organisational skills.
• Professional, friendly manner and ability to work to deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of legal processes and procedures relevant to private client work.
