Private Client Solicitor – Hybrid (Plymouth)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (or Chartered Legal Executive / Private Client Fee Earner) to join our growing Wills, Probate and Estate Planning team in Plymouth. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to work with a respected Legal 500 law firm serving individuals, families, elderly and high‑net‑worth clients across Devon.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including probate, estate administration, wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney and inheritance tax planning.
• Provide tailored advice to individuals, families and high‑net‑worth clients.
• Collaborate with senior partners and support staff to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) or experienced private client fee earner.
• Proven experience handling probate, wills, trusts and related private client work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Strong client‑focused approach with excellent communication skills.
