Private Client Solicitor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our Andover office on a hybrid basis. You will handle a full spectrum of private client matters, from wills and lasting powers of attorney to wealth planning, probate, intestate administration, trusts and Court of Protection work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide fee‑earning legal advice and services across all private client areas.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business.
• Draft wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney and manage estate and trust administration.
• Handle probate, intestate administration and Court of Protection/deputyship matters.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX member with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Demonstrated experience in the full range of private client work.
• STEP qualification is desirable.
• Professional appearance and a collaborative team attitude.

Required skills

• Drafting wills and trusts.
• Preparing lasting powers of attorney.

• Tax and trust‑related legal work.
