Private Client Solicitor

About the role

Our client is a specialist boutique law firm serving farming families, land‑owning individuals and complex private estates. They are expanding and need an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join the practice, offering autonomy, progression and genuine influence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a broad caseload of private client matters from instruction to completion.
• Provide advice on wills, trusts, probate, powers of attorney and tax planning.
• Draft accurate legal documents and ensure meticulous administration of estates.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients across generations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver seamless, high‑quality client service.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate in England and Wales.
• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in private client work.
• Strong knowledge of wills, trusts, probate, powers of attorney, estate and tax planning.
• Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently and accurately.
• Excellent client care skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal technology.
• Experience using case management systems.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office.

What we offer

• Salary between £80,000 and £120,000 per year.
