Private Client Solicitor (Part‑time)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a prestigious firm on a part‑time basis (3‑4 days per week). Reporting to the Head of Private Client, you will provide specialist legal advice across a full range of private client matters.
Key responsibilities
- Advise and act on wills, estate administration and inheritance tax planning.
- Handle Court of Protection matters, lasting powers of attorney and drafting deeds of variation.
- Manage contentious probate and trust administration.
- Liaise with clients, senior partners and external advisers to deliver high‑quality service.
Required profile
- Minimum 7‑8 years post‑qualification experience in private client law.
- Outstanding communication and ability to manage an independent caseload.
- Excellent organisational skills, particularly diary, file and time management.
- Proactive, friendly and empathetic approach with strong initiative.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel.
What we offer
- Competitive salary £52,000‑£75,000 per annum, negotiable.
