Private Client Solicitor (Senior) – Leeds

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our consultancy team on a self‑employed basis. The role offers the flexibility to work remotely or from our Leeds office while serving high‑net‑worth individuals and families.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a private client caseload, providing specialist advice on trusts, estates, tax and succession planning.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Generate new business and meet billing targets of at least £100,000 per annum.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and Lexcel standards.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin and accounts teams to streamline service delivery.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience in private client work.
• Proven ability to manage a client portfolio independently.
• Minimum billing record of £100,000 per year or £8,000 per month.
• Commitment to high‑quality client care and ethical practice.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of private client law, trusts and estate planning.
• Experience with fee‑earning structures and revenue generation.
• Understanding of Lexcel accreditation requirements.
