Private Client Solicitor – Southampton (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Private Client Solicitor to join a leading Legal 200 firm in Southampton. The role offers a hybrid working model and the chance to manage a full, varied caseload for high‑net‑worth individuals while supervising junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a diverse portfolio of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate administration and lasting powers of attorney.
• Provide specialist advice on complex tax and trust structures for high‑net‑worth clients.
• Supervise and mentor junior solicitors and paralegals within the private client team.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation and best practice in private client law.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in private client work.
• STEP qualification or a clear commitment to obtain it.
• Strong analytical abilities and a client‑focused approach.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid environment and contribute to a supportive team culture.
