Private Client Solicitor – Taunton/Tiverton (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our growing private client team in Taunton (or Tiverton). The role involves handling complex, high‑value private client matters within a supportive, hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a private client caseload, including probate and estate administration.
• Structure and administer trusts.
• Provide wills and estate planning advice.
• Handle Court of Protection matters as required.
• Act as the primary contact for complex estates and trusts.
• Support the Head of Department with team oversight and workflow management where appropriate.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx).
• Minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience in private client law.
• Proven ability to manage private client matters.
• Willingness to take on leadership or departmental responsibilities as the role develops.
