Private Client Solicitor – Up to £50,000 DOE

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded, friendly, and inclusive team in Cambridge. You will manage your own caseload while collaborating with experienced colleagues across a broad range of private client matters.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a full private client portfolio, including wills, lasting powers of attorney, estate administration and trusts.
• Provide comprehensive lifetime planning advice to a diverse client base, such as elderly, vulnerable, business owners, landlords and agricultural clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through high‑quality, client‑focused service.
• Work closely with senior team members to develop expertise in more complex private client matters.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 2‑4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in private client work.
• Solid grounding in advising on all types of private client matters and strong technical attention to detail.
• Commitment to upholding high‑quality, client‑focused advice.
• Interest in developing expertise in complex private client issues; STEP qualification advantageous but not essential.
