About the role
This position supports the private client tax team of a respected professional services firm. You will work with high‑net‑worth individuals and families, ensuring compliance and delivering strategic tax advice.
Key responsibilities
- Manage private client tax portfolios, meeting compliance and advisory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on tax planning opportunities for high‑net‑worth clients.
- Prepare and review complex tax returns with accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist senior managers on tax advisory projects and client proposals.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients.
- Mentor junior team members and support their development.
- Monitor tax legislation changes and assess client impact.
- Contribute to business development initiatives within the tax department.
Required profile
- Professional tax or accountancy qualification (e.g., ATT, CTA, ACA).
- Strong knowledge of private client tax compliance and advisory work.
- Experience managing client portfolios in a professional services environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive problem‑solver with a client‑focused mindset.
- Interest in staying updated on tax legislation developments.
