About the role

This is a rare opening within a well‑regarded boutique private client tax practice in London’s West End. The role offers a strong technical portfolio for a senior‑level tax professional seeking to deepen advisory exposure across complex personal tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of around 100 private clients, covering compliance and advisory work.
• Handle complex personal tax issues, including non‑domiciled and non‑long‑term resident clients.
• Provide advice on offshore trusts, international family wealth structures, and cross‑border matters.
• Oversee inheritance tax, estate planning, probate, and media/entertainment IP income.
• Act as primary contact for client queries, review self‑assessment returns, liaise with HMRC and third parties, and support junior colleagues.

Required profile

• CTA qualified or working towards CTA qualification.
• Solid grounding in UK personal taxes with experience advising non‑doms.
• Knowledge of trusts, inheritance tax and probate is advantageous.
• Experience in a boutique or high‑quality private client environment.
• Strong advisory mindset and ability to work collaboratively within a close‑knit team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CCH tax software.
