Private Client Tax Manager

About the role
Join a well‑established independent accountancy firm as a Private Client Tax Manager. You will lead a diverse portfolio of individuals, trusts, estates and partnerships while contributing to the development of the tax team and wider function.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a varied private client portfolio covering CGT, IHT, trusts, residence and domicile issues.
- Review and oversee complex self‑assessment returns and employment‑related compliance.
- Mentor junior staff and support the growth of the tax team.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive improvements across the tax function.
Required profile
- CTA qualification (or equivalent) with strong private client tax experience.
- Proven ability to manage client portfolios and supervise staff.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills.
