Private Client Tax Manager – Reading or Bristol

About the role

Join a leading Private Client Tax team within a Big‑4 practice, supporting high‑net‑worth individuals, family offices and entrepreneurial businesses from our Reading or Bristol office. This senior position offers exposure to complex tax matters across multiple jurisdictions and a clear path for career development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of UHNW/HNW and family‑office clients.
• Oversee work‑in‑progress, ensure prompt billing and monitor cash collection.
• Provide advice on Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, income tax and international tax issues.
• Project‑manage tax advisory assignments, controlling risk and meeting all deadlines and compliance requirements.
• Develop new business opportunities and nurture existing client relationships.
• Participate in marketing and networking initiatives.
• Support leadership, training and development of junior colleagues.

Required profile

• CTA, ACA, ATT or ACCA qualified.
• Proven experience working with a varied, high‑value client base.
• Track record handling complex and challenging tax work.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.
