Private Client Tax - Senior Manager

About the role

The Glasgow office of a respected advisory and accountancy practice is seeking a Private Client Tax Senior Manager. You will lead high‑quality advisory services for high‑net‑worth individuals, entrepreneurs and family groups, overseeing complex tax planning projects and compliance processes while providing strategic advice on succession, residence and domicile, CGT, IHT and wealth structuring.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of HNWIs and family businesses.
• Manage and execute complex tax planning and compliance engagements.
• Provide strategic advice on succession planning, residence/domicile, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and wealth structuring.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Contribute to business development and shape the future direction of the private client tax offering in Glasgow.

Required profile

• Experienced private client tax professional, ideally CTA‑qualified.
• Proven track record advising high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to translate technical tax issues into clear advice.
• Professionalism, integrity and genuine passion for private client work.
• Experience in a mid‑tier or national practice is advantageous.
