Private Client Tax Senior Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join a boutique practice serving high‑profile clients in the arts, media and entertainment sectors. The role offers genuine autonomy, a substantial portfolio of individual clients and the opportunity to lead both technical delivery and a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a substantial portfolio of high‑net‑worth individual clients, balancing compliance and advisory work.
• Act as the primary point of contact, leading client onboarding and advisory meetings.
• Oversee annual Self‑Assessment tax return cycles, Capital Gains Tax, ATED and P11D filings.
• Handle HMRC enquiries and correspondence directly.
• Delegate, review and coach the output of one direct report while maintaining your own client workload.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing a personal tax portfolio at manager level.
• Background advising high‑net‑worth or entertainment‑industry clients (media, arts, film, TV).
• ATT/CTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Confidence in managing HMRC enquiries and investigations.
• Strong client relationship and people‑management skills.
