Private Equity Internship – London

About the role

Join CDPQ’s European Private Equity team in London as a Private Equity Intern. You will work alongside experienced investment professionals, contributing to the management of existing portfolio companies and the evaluation of new investment opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day activities of the private equity team.
• Assist with strategic and financial analysis of current portfolio investments.
• Research and analyse potential markets and target companies, developing investment theses.
• Prepare concise internal documents summarising findings and recommendations.

Required profile

• Penultimate or final‑year student, or recent graduate, from a top university with strong academic results.
• Previous internship experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, or private equity.
• Fluent in English and French; additional language is a plus.
• Motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work autonomously within a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with professional financial databases such as Capital IQ and MergerMarket.
