About the role

We are seeking a Private Family Solicitor to join a highly regarded, employee‑owned firm in Guildford. The role offers genuine autonomy, a collaborative culture and a strong focus on work‑life balance while handling high‑value family law matters.

Key responsibilities

Manage divorce and separation financial remedy proceedings.
Negotiate and draft high‑net‑worth financial settlements.
Handle cohabitation and separation disputes.
Prepare pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements.
Advise on private children matters.

Required profile

Qualified solicitor with at least 4 years post‑qualification experience in family law.
Proven track record of managing financial remedy matters from instruction to resolution.
Ability to handle a varied caseload independently.
Proactive in building professional relationships and generating new business.
