Process Development Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Process Development Engineer to join a leading advanced engineering and manufacturing organisation. You will work in a collaborative, project‑driven environment, supporting the full development lifecycle from concept through to commercialisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop process methodology and design novel process and test equipment.
• Construct, commission and test equipment for emerging technologies.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to qualify new processes and products.
• Manage development projects and align them with commercial requirements.
• Support R&D and commercial projects, liaising with manufacturing engineers and the production department.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in R&D, mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
• BEng/MEng qualified or equivalent with extensive practical experience.
• Proven ability to develop new process equipment and procedures.
• Experience with verification and qualification testing to ISO standards.
• Strong analytical and report‑writing skills.
