Process Engineer – Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

Join a leading aerospace manufacturer as a Process Engineer within the Manufacturing Team at the Broughton site. You will translate design intent into detailed technical instructions and support aircraft production from detail manufacture through testing and certification.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and control technical instructions, routings, BOMs, SOIs and STV calculations.
• Ensure all documentation complies with departmental procedures and regulatory standards.
• Lead improvement projects for manufacture, assembly, testing and certification methods.
• Evaluate process capacity, recommend enhancements and advise on design standards.
• Provide electrical and mechanical support on the shop floor to operations, supply chain and final assembly lines.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency with business management tools, preferably SAP.
• Ability to apply first‑principles thinking to manufacturing decisions.
• Experience in aircraft production and related engineering procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
