Process Engineer

About the role

The Process Engineer role at OXTS focuses on improving, maintaining and troubleshooting production processes to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality manufacturing. You will provide hands‑on engineering support to production, assist with new product introduction and help maintain calibration and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Improve, maintain and repair OXTS production tools and processes, including calibration activities.
• Work cross‑functionally with NPI Engineer, Engineering, Production, Quality and Purchasing to support new product introductions.
• Investigate and resolve real‑time production build and test issues, documenting improvements and providing training.
• Monitor and maintain assigned production equipment, perform preventative maintenance and manage calibration records.
• Develop and maintain simple software tools using Python to automate routine tasks and streamline calibration.
• Support external audits, customer queries and ensure equipment complies with quality and safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on engineering background, ideally in mechatronics, manufacturing, production or test engineering.
• Experience troubleshooting production and test issues using structured root‑cause analysis methods such as 5 Whys, fishbone analysis or fault trees.

Required skills

• Python scripting/programming.
• CAD software such as SolidWorks.
• Basic electronics and PCB fault‑finding knowledge.
• Low‑voltage electrical skills for production and test equipment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP or manufacturing systems; exposure to SQL, smart‑factory systems or 3D printing is advantageous.
