Process Operations Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Process Operations Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day manufacturing activities at our Rochester facility. You will be responsible for delivering safety, quality, delivery and productivity targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production and process operations to meet operational targets.
• Ensure manufacturing plans and schedules are executed efficiently and on time.
• Monitor and manage KPIs such as Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, OEE, downtime, yield and productivity.
• Coordinate staffing levels, workload allocation and resource planning.
• Identify, investigate and resolve production issues, escalating when necessary.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture and ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards.
• Lead, coach and develop operators, technicians and production personnel.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and 5S initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Planning and Supply Chain teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team‑lead role within manufacturing, production, process, engineering, pharmaceutical, chemical or FMCG environments.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Proven track record of monitoring KPIs and improving operational performance.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S or Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
