Process Operative – Late Shift (Cheltenham)

About the role

We are looking for reliable Process Operatives to join our busy evening team in Cheltenham. The role involves handling soiled linen and garments in a commercial laundry environment, with a focus on quality and efficiency during the late shift.

Key responsibilities

• Sort and prepare soiled linen and garments for cleaning.
• Operate laundry and pressing equipment to process items.
• Iron, press and finish garments to meet customer standards.
• Inspect finished items for quality and correct presentation.
• Label, count stock and complete basic record-keeping.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and good time-keeping.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable handling soiled laundry and linen.
• Basic numeracy and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Operating laundry machinery.
• Using pressing and ironing equipment.
• Basic numeracy for stock counting.
