About the role
Join a well‑established manufacturing firm in North Shields as a Process Operator. You will work on a fast‑paced production line, ensuring high‑quality output while adhering to strict safety and procedural standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Set up, operate and monitor a range of production machinery.
- Carry out tool changes and routine maintenance to meet production targets.
- Take samples, feed machines/lines, and complete required paperwork at each stage.
- Report any equipment issues and assist with general factory housekeeping.
Required profile
- Experience in a fast‑paced production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong focus on quality and ability to meet daily targets.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physically fit to handle heavy products and perform manual tasks.
