Procurement Advisor

About the role

Join a leading UK organisation focused on sustainability and responsible supply chain management. As a Procurement Advisor you will support the delivery of procurement activities across goods, services and projects, working closely with internal stakeholders and senior procurement colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for a range of categories, including goods, services and capital projects.
• Support the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
• Review quotations, negotiate pricing and ensure supplier compliance with group processes.
• Assist with tenders, specifications and contract reviews.
• Monitor purchasing activity, identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Provide procurement advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Previous experience in procurement and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practice.
• Experience procuring commodities, services or capital projects.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• CIPS qualification or progress towards it is desirable.
