Procurement Analyst – 9‑Month Interim Contract

About the role

This 9‑month interim position offers a hybrid working arrangement in Milton Keynes, supporting a dynamic procurement function within a well‑established commercial organisation. You will turn complex spend data into actionable insights that influence strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Produce spend analysis, procurement dashboards, KPI reporting and management information.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, supplier trends and procurement risks through data analysis.
• Support sourcing and category‑management initiatives with market and spend insights.
• Maintain procurement data, supplier records and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Develop reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier performance and contract compliance metrics.
• Assist continuous‑improvement initiatives across procurement processes and systems.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement and operational teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Procurement Analyst, Spend Analyst, Commercial Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• CIPS qualification or progression towards CIPS is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables, reporting and data manipulation.
