Procurement Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Procurement Assistant to support our growing organisation. The role combines office‑based procurement tasks with hands‑on warehouse duties, offering a varied and fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with sourcing goods and obtaining supplier quotations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier documentation.
• Raise purchase orders and monitor deliveries to ensure timely arrival of materials.
• Provide general administrative support for procurement and warehouse operations.
• Organise and maintain warehouse storage areas to support efficient stock control.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock.
• Prepare and issue materials to support operational requirements.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence (essential for occasional travel).
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, stores, warehousing or inventory control.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to obtain a forklift licence (beneficial).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
