Procurement Business Partner – Construction

About the role

Join a high‑performing procurement function supporting major projects and operational teams within a fast‑paced industrial and manufacturing organisation. As a Procurement Business Partner you will build strong stakeholder relationships, influence decisions and deliver commercial value through effective sourcing and supplier management.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted procurement partner to key business stakeholders.
• Lead end‑to‑end procurement activity across indirect and project‑based categories.
• Develop sourcing strategies that deliver value, mitigate risk and align with business objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews and contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance requirements and relevant regulations.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities across procurement processes.
• Provide commercial and procurement expertise to support strategic business initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain or procurement within construction, manufacturing or the public sector.
• Knowledge of NEC and JCT construction contracts.
• Understanding of procurement strategies, processes and commercial principles.
• Experience managing supplier performance and contractual relationships.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
