About the role
We are seeking a driven and resilient Buyer to join our operations team. This hands‑on, fast‑paced position requires you to take full ownership of procurement activities, manage your workload independently, and ensure a smooth flow of goods into the business.
Key responsibilities
- Source products and materials in line with business requirements and raise, manage, and track purchase orders.
- Monitor supplier performance, expedite orders, and resolve any delivery or invoice issues.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and evaluate supplier performance.
- Source new products, manage product sampling and testing, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor stock levels, support demand forecasting, and work closely with warehouse teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Analyse purchasing data, pricing trends, and supplier performance to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
