Procurement Executive

About the role

This position supports a fleet operator in strengthening its technical and procurement capabilities. You will work at the intersection of regulatory compliance, supplier performance, logistics coordination and cost control to ensure vessels remain operational and commercially competitive.

Key responsibilities

• Own class and flag compliance to guarantee uninterrupted vessel trading and regulatory readiness.
• Drive cost‑effective procurement of spares, stores and services while maintaining operational standards.
• Support dry‑docking programmes by influencing budget, execution quality and minimising downtime.
• Strengthen supplier performance through negotiation, evaluation and commercial discipline.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery to vessels.

Required profile

• Operates precisely in high‑pressure, detail‑critical environments.
• Commercially aware with the ability to balance cost, quality and operational urgency.
• Builds credibility quickly with superintendents, suppliers and logistics partners.
• Demonstrates ownership beyond process, taking accountability for outcomes.
• Experience in procurement within maritime, technical or logistics‑driven environments is advantageous.
