Procurement Manager – Central Services

About the role

Premier Foods is seeking a Procurement Manager for its Central Services function. You will lead the sourcing and management of a wide range of professional and corporate services, ensuring value, compliance and strong supplier partnerships across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end procurement for categories such as Legal, Financial Services, Property, Travel, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Occupational Health and Health & Safety.
• Develop and implement category strategies that drive innovation, cost savings and continuous improvement.
• Analyse spend data and market insights to identify opportunities, mitigate risks and optimise supplier performance.
• Lead tender processes, supplier evaluations and commercial negotiations.
• Establish and manage contracts, framework agreements and service arrangements delivering clear commercial value.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, conducting performance reviews and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure robust governance, risk management and compliance across all managed categories.
• Partner with HR, Legal, Finance, Property, Learning & Development and other stakeholders to provide commercial insight.
• Support ESG and sustainability goals through responsible sourcing practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience procuring professional and corporate services (legal, finance, HR, recruitment, property, travel, health & safety, training).
• Strong sourcing, negotiation and contract‑management expertise across multiple categories.
• Track record of driving supplier performance and continuous improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
