Procurement Manager – Indirects (Hybrid, £55k‑£57k)

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities for indirect spend. This hybrid role combines office collaboration with remote work, offering the chance to manage high‑value contracts and deliver measurable cost savings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement processes from requirement definition to contract award.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies in partnership with category managers.
• Manage complex procurement exercises while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Identify innovative procurement opportunities and build business cases.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and promote best practices.
• Support transition to supplier management to maximise contract performance.
• Monitor market trends and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Required profile

• Significant experience in procurement or strategic sourcing with a proven record of cost savings.
• Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience handling high‑value procurement projects and understanding of contracts and commercial risk.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Degree‑level education in Business, Economics or related field, or equivalent commercial experience.
