Procurement Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Procurement Manager to support the Head of Procurement and help elevate our department. You will use a commercial mindset to drive best‑practice procurement across a wide range of projects, from ICT equipment to marketing events, while embedding sustainability, social value and EDI principles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage RfQs for low‑value spend and lead tendering on our eProcurement portal for large projects.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver value for money and strategic outcomes.
• Oversee supply‑chain relationships and ensure compliance with sustainability and social‑value targets.
• Travel to our centres in Birmingham, Glasgow and London, staying overnight one to two nights per week as required.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with strong energy and drive.
• Proven background in procurement, preferably within a charitable or public‑sector environment.
• Dynamic, flexible and able to manage time effectively across multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel and work on‑site at least two days per week.
