Procurement Specialist – Drive Results & Ownership

About the role

We are seeking a driven Procurement Specialist to join our operations team. This hands‑on, fast‑paced role requires you to take full ownership of purchasing activities, manage your workload independently, and ensure a smooth flow of goods into the business.

Key responsibilities

• Source products and materials in line with business requirements.
• Raise, manage, and track purchase orders, including direct deliveries and special orders.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays or supply‑chain issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data within internal systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and service levels.
• Resolve supplier issues such as delivery discrepancies and invoice queries.
• Source new products and suppliers, manage product sampling and testing to ensure quality.
• Evaluate products based on cost, quality, and performance and work with internal teams to introduce improvements.
• Monitor stock levels, support demand forecasting, and collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to maintain stock accuracy.
• Analyse purchasing data, pricing trends, and supplier performance to drive cost efficiencies.
