Procurement Specialist

About the role

Fulkrum, a global leader in inspection, expediting, auditing and technical staffing, is seeking a Procurement Specialist for its Corby office. The role will manage end‑to‑end procurement activities, supporting the commercial team and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day procurement requests for goods, services, agencies, inspections and subcontractors.
• Research the market, obtain comparable quotations and make evidence‑based supplier recommendations.
• Negotiate pricing, service levels, lead times and procurement terms within delegated authority.
• Coordinate supplier, partner and subcontractor onboarding, including due diligence and contractual documentation.
• Oversee purchase‑order creation, approval, amendment and closure while maintaining accurate trackers.
• Monitor supplier performance, drive cost‑saving initiatives and support supplier reviews.

Required profile

• Practical experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management, able to work independently.
• Working knowledge of the full procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to contract administration.
• Experience handling supplier, subcontractor or agency agreements, NDAs and related commercial documentation.
• Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to challenge incomplete or non‑compliant requests.
• Excellent communication, organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities and work with limited supervision.
