Product Asset Manager – Supply Chain & Inventory

About the role
As a Product Asset Manager for the EMEA region, you will oversee purchase orders, inventory levels, and supply planning for a key supplier portfolio within a global listed company. You will work in a hybrid, cross‑functional environment, collaborating with suppliers, sales, finance, warehouse and internal operations teams to ensure product availability and meet customer delivery requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders, order reschedules, backlog and delivery schedules to meet customer demand.
- Monitor and optimise inventory levels, balancing availability with stock quality and turnover.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, sales teams and internal stakeholders to resolve supply issues.
- Track supplier lead times, support forecasting and planning activities, and maintain accurate product and system data.
- Resolve operational issues such as pricing discrepancies, non‑conforming receipts and returns in cooperation with finance and warehouse teams.
- Support strategic inventory actions including stock package negotiations, inter‑company transfers and supplier‑focused initiatives.
Required profile
- Experience in inventory management, purchasing, supply chain, procurement, logistics or order management.
- Strong analytical abilities and confidence working with data and forecasts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently, proactively and with ownership in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent English (additional European languages are a plus).
- Good system skills, including Excel and experience with ERP or supply‑chain systems.
- Preferred: experience in the electronic components industry and a relevant degree (Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics).
