Product & Commissioning Specialist - CO2 Refrigeration

About the role

CCR is a fast-growing organisation developing next-generation CO2-based refrigeration and heat pump technologies for commercial and industrial customers. It is looking for a Product & Commissioning Specialist to deploy its solutions with precision and reliability, reporting to the Solution Manager within the Operations department. The role leads on-site commissioning, optimises system performance and acts as the technical link between engineering, product development and field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on-site commissioning of CO2 refrigeration and heat-pump systems, ensuring adherence to performance, safety and regulatory standards
• Configure, validate and optimise system parameters to maximise efficiency, reliability and thermal performance
• Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and early operation and drive rapid resolution
• Give expert feedback to engineering and product teams to improve system design and field readiness
• Develop and maintain standardised commissioning procedures, documentation and best-practice guidelines
• Support customers, installers and field teams with technical guidance through deployment and post-installation
• Analyse system performance data to find optimisation opportunities

Required profile

• Strong technical background in refrigeration engineering, mechanical engineering, HVAC or industrial heat-pump systems
• Hands-on experience commissioning CO2 (R744) systems, commercial refrigeration, industrial cooling or high-temperature heat pumps
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in the field
• Comfortable working in dynamic, hands-on environments with cross-functional teams
• A passion for natural-refrigerant technology and low-carbon heating and cooling
