Product Design Engineer – London

About the role

SharkNinja is seeking a Product Design Engineer to join its New Product Development team at the London Design Office. You will turn innovative ideas into manufacturable consumer products that reach millions of homes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Originate novel concepts and technologies for Shark and Ninja product ranges.
• Define elegant, robust solutions that meet functional requirements while preserving consumer experience.
• Communicate ideas rapidly through sketching, CAD layouts, 3D models, and working prototypes.
• Own designs from conception through CAD execution, prototyping, and verification, maintaining a fast pace.
• Apply sound engineering principles to deliver real, production‑ready solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product development teams in the US and China to ensure ideas survive to production.

Required profile

• Degree in Product Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Design Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in a mechanical or product design environment.
• Hands‑on laboratory experience, comfortable building prototypes and reporting findings.
• Ability to identify, solve, and verify technical challenges autonomously within a team.
• Experience in consumer goods or household appliances is a plus, as is familiarity with plastic manufacturing processes.
• Collaborative and flexible mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo.
