About the role

The Product Director, Pattern & AI Driven Automation will lead the intersection of business‑facing automation design and engineering delivery for GSK’s digital transformation. Based in London, this senior role ensures that automation solutions are built to meet business needs and are ready for future AI‑enabled decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of accountability across the automation design and engineering teams.
• Translate business requirements into to‑be process designs that incorporate human‑in‑the‑loop steps where needed.
• Drive radical automation readiness, focusing on future‑state processes rather than merely digitising current ones.
• Collaborate with business analysts and subject‑matter experts to challenge constraints and define intelligent, decision‑making automation.
• Carry business and user requirements into engineering, ensuring solutions align with the common architecture.
• Represent business and end‑users in day‑to‑day engineering discussions.
• Shape delivery road‑maps with vendors and internal resources, aligning them with multi‑year strategic automation goals.
• Manage resources and performance to deliver automation capabilities on schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading cross‑functional automation design and engineering initiatives.
• Strong ability to bridge business requirements and technical delivery.
