Product Manager – Data Products

About the role

Ordnance Survey is looking for a Product Manager to lead the lifecycle of data‑driven products within its Networks portfolio (Transport and Water). You will work closely with the portfolio team, data specialists and technology partners to turn market insight into valuable services for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end success of Network products, from concept through launch and eventual withdrawal.
• Develop product strategies based on customer insight, market analysis and profitability.
• Maintain outcome‑based product roadmaps aligned with business and portfolio goals.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for OS Networks products, championing understanding across the organisation and at external events.
• Monitor product performance using scorecards, KPIs and customer outcomes to guide roadmap decisions.
• Lead cross‑functional delivery teams, fostering innovation, accountability and a customer‑centric mindset.
• Plan and execute user research to capture insights that shape product priorities.
• Engage with users, partners and stakeholders, translating feedback into product improvements and new opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle for data‑oriented services.
• Strong ability to translate market demand, technical feasibility and affordability into actionable roadmaps.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting strategy, performance and roadmap decisions to senior stakeholders and external audiences.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a track record of delivering measurable value.
