Product & Operations Manager

About the role

An exciting opportunity for a passionate and highly motivated individual to join a small, supportive, and collaborative team. As the Product & Operations Manager you will source new suppliers, negotiate competitive rates and contracts, and nurture strong supplier relationships while supporting the regional sales team with day‑to‑day supplier‑related tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing and liaising with new suppliers, negotiating favourable rates and signing contracts.
• Providing inspiration for bespoke itineraries and activities to the sales team.
• Maintaining excellent supplier relations and keeping internal systems up to date.
• Representing the company at supplier meetings and trade fairs, following up on discussions with timely actions.
• Visiting and assessing new hotels, vineyards, restaurants and updating electronic rates folders.
• Maintaining the internal quote‑building system (Tourplan) to ensure accurate data for proposals.
• Acting as duty manager for out‑of‑hours enquiries and supporting the sales team with operational issues.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective time‑management and ability to manage own workload.
• Fluency in reading, writing and speaking French.

• Microsoft Excel
• Tourplan (or ability to quickly learn new IT systems)

What we offer

• Salary £32,000‑£40,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• 23 days annual leave plus flexible working that can accrue up to an additional 12 days.
• Annual bonus and hybrid working arrangement (minimum 5 days per fortnight in the office).
• Full‑time 37.5‑hour week, based at our Hertfordshire office.
