Product Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Product Specialist to lead the development of licensed consumer products across multiple categories. You will own the product lifecycle from concept and licensing approval through launch, trading and performance optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end product development process for licensed homewares, gifting, toys, lifestyle and stationery items.
• Work closely with licensors to secure approvals and maintain brand compliance.
• Coordinate with UK and international suppliers and manufacturers to source and produce products.
• Analyse sales and performance data to inform pricing, margin and assortment decisions.
• Negotiate with suppliers and oversee contract terms to achieve commercial targets.

Required profile

• Experience in product development, product management or own‑label buying within a licensing environment.
• Proven track record of taking products from concept to market launch.
• Strong commercial awareness, including pricing, margins and supplier negotiations.
• Ability to interpret sales data and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
