Production Engineer – Path to Production Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Production Engineer to join a family‑run business that designs and manufactures high‑precision filtration equipment for blue‑chip clients such as Balfour Beatty and BAE Systems. The role offers a clear progression route to become a Production Manager, leading a new production team at an upgraded facility.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and program a range of CNC machines, including Star, Mazak and Hurco equipment.
• Utilise Mazatrol and Fanuc controls for CNC milling and turning operations.
• Apply CAD/CAM software—primarily Fusion 360 and SolidWorks—throughout the production workflow.
• Support general production duties and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience as a Production Engineer or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Proven hands‑on experience with CNC machining and CAD/CAM tools.
• A desire to progress into a Production Manager position.
