Production Engineer/Manager – Electronics, Aerospace & Defence

About the role

We are seeking a Production Engineer/Manager to join a fast‑growing electronics manufacturing business that serves the aerospace, defence, healthcare and energy sectors. You will be a key technical leader, overseeing both production and manufacturing activities while driving new product introductions and quality initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day production and manufacturing operations.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and ensure smooth hand‑over to production.
• Conduct and monitor quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Develop and implement Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) procedures.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and internal teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Production Engineer, Production Manager or similar role within manufacturing, aerospace or defence.
• Degree, HNC or HND (or equivalent) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and standards.
